Ice on the path to the Upper Falls
Ice along the path to the Upper Falls at Old Man's Cave at Hocking Hills State Park, Ohio. This is not a HDR image, it is a single shot run through some Nik and Topaz plug-ins.

Hi Donald,
Might be just me, but I cannot see any picture.![Frown](https://cdn.cambridgeincolour.com/forums/images/smilies2/frown.png)

Re: Ice on the path to the Upper Falls
Hi, Don
I am well acquainted with that location and know how difficult it can be to get those shots right technically. Your focus is perfect with good DoF, the color of the ice is completely natural, and you got great exposure of the shadows behind the ice without raising a bunch of ugly noise.
That is not an easy exposure commbination. I know how dark it can be in that gorge, and I'm curious what time of day you took this- the usual target times of dusk and dawn just dont reliably work down there. Well done,
Kevin

Donald, like you picture, are there more? That is something I rarely get to photograph living in So Cal.
