That is brilliant. The person bottom left just finishes it off beautifully. Superb image.
Haven't done any snow stuff this year...yet ............. except dig a lot of the damn stuff to be able to get the car out.
Sharon, you have such a clean windscreen. If I had taken that photo through mine, you would have bug splatter all over the place.
The image makes me feel cold. We don't get much snow, if any, down here in S.A.
Your title reminded me of a book I read 20 some odd years ago by Dr.Scott Peck. Awesome book, better photograph, I always look forward to your work Sharon. Whereas I have no talent for the artistic I sure apreciate yours.![]()
Thank you James..how very nice of you to say.
Donald, I have not had much chance to do snow photography before but yesterday sure was a learning opportunity...and a half! lol
Sergio...my windscreen really isn't all that clean. I did want to wind the window down or open the door but strangely enough my passengers felt differently.Brrrrrrrr
This almost has a voyeur feel to it...I really like it!

Cheers

Thank you John & John.![]()
Very good photo, and given it is through your windscreen, a real keeper.
Yes, I have read the book too, thought it was very good as well, even if it is controversial in places.
I heard he got himself into a bit of bother!
Nice shot, eerie and peaceful at the same time.
Interesting concept and very well executed. I add my vote for a great image.
Oh yeah, and I intend to shamelessly steal this idea.
How did I miss seeing this wonderful photo yesterday?! I agree with all of the above and especially with Donald that including the pedestrian takes it to a much higher level. Considering that he or she helped make your photo, I don't suppose you offered a ride.
Thank you Robin, Bobo and Trevor....feel free to pinch the idea!
Mike...in the conditions I don't think the guy even heard us behind him, he was well bundled up. I was almost at my destination so I couldn't really offer him much in the way of progress. I hope he got home quickly though because it came down very quicky after that and the return journey was a bit on the hairy side. :/
I am really surprised how effective shooting through the windscreen was though...I didn't expect to get anything.
