Re: George Washington Bridge
Perhaps with 40% cropped off the bottom of the water? It looks very blue on my screen. Was that intentional?

Re: George Washington Bridge
How's this,
It is bluer, I turned up the saturation and contrast, maybe too much.
Feel Free to show me your perspective.

Re: George Washington Bridge
It looks better with the crop you did. I just put it into the CS4 RAW editor and reduced the blue channel saturation and gave the sky a little more contrast. It's still quite blue though. I like the way the lower clouds match the curved span of the bridge. It gives it some balance.

Re: George Washington Bridge
I think a bit of compromise will be necessary here. Carregwen's version has improved the contrast of the bridge and the city skyline but at the expense of that lovely blue sky.
Maybe just reducing the blue on the shadows might work.
But the crop definitely works and considerably reduces the blue effect on its own.

The texture/patterns in the clouds is perfect. Very nice shot

Re: George Washington Bridge
I love this shot! I love how the skyscrapers/buildings have been framed by the bottom (road part) of the bridge, and the surface of the water.
