Croatian locals: candids and portraits

All of these photos were captured on a point-and-shoot camera in 2006. I converted them today to black-and-white.

C&C encouraged, though I have nothing to ask.

I like the conversion.

#3 and #5 work best for me as the subjects seem unaware of the camera in these.

I took them using a Nikon P5700, my first digital camera. It has a very nice lens.

That's especially interesting, as those are the only two images that the subjects knew of the camera. Indeed, both images are posed.

Mike, I like all of them. I love to return from a trip with people pictures. These are very nice examples, especially since they were hot with a P&S....

Our most recent trip to the rural areas of Iceland had so few locals that I don't remember capturing any of them, which is certainly a mistake.
