The Great Fountain of Onofrio

This fifteen century fountain in Dubrovnik was designed by Onofrio, though part of it was ruined in a 17th century earthquake and never restored. Onofrio also designed a Small Fountain located at the other end of the main street.

The second photo is a black-and-white photo of a black-and-white photo. It was part of an exhibition of old photos of Dubrovnik.

The first photo originally is a color slide. The second photo was captured on a point-and-shoot camera. Both photos were taken in 2006 and converted today.

Hi, Mike

I'm curious why in the 2nd image that you included the edges of the other frames- to preserve your aspect ratio, or to place the main component in its context of being a part of an exhibit? Or....?

Thanks for asking, Kevin. I wanted to show that the image is part of an exhibit. I feel that the image tells a more interesting story that way.
