Hi, everybody. Just wanted to introduce myself and say how much I've really enjoyed perusing this Site for the past week or so. I'm a long time hobbyist and I've already learned a lot from the Forums and various articles here. It's awesome. I'm awaiting arrival of a Canon 7d, my first DSLR, which should be here by the middle of next week. I'm very excited about that and look forward to becoming active here and learning.

Now you've had chance to look at the site, you can see it's a very friendly and welcoming place, with some awesome photographers who are ready to share and advise.

Thank you, Dave. You're right about the site and the people on it. Seems like a very friendly and positive place. Some of the photography is just absolutely incredible. As far as my own skills go, well, not so much. I love the hobby and do take great enjoyment from it but, between you and me, nobody has ever called me a Photographer. lol
