Again, masterful examples of this technique and method of image-making.
None is 'better' than the others. Each is an wonderful exhibition of the art and craft of photography. But I have to confess to loving the textures and shapes in the last one. I just think there is so much to explore in that image.

You really nailed these, Matt. My only misgiving is knowing that some people will use browsers that do not adequately display the nuance of the tones. As a result, they won't be able to see the subtle vignetting.
Anxiously waiting for Series #3!

PS - As an added note to everyone, I have been thinking how peculiar it is that 95% of my images on this forum have been B&W, yet I've never really been very 'into' B&W in the past nor do I have much experience with it. The majority of my past images (from years ago when I was younger and actually active in photography) have been more colorful and of outdoor subjects/nature/landscape. I feel that this focus stacking technique lends itself well to the B&W treatment, and I think this is going to be a large part of my future body of work. Thank you all for following along and helping me improve.
