I think the title you have chosen for this image makes it hard to absorb. The gentleman in the image could be looking out at anything as there is no indication of a golf course in the shot. So what am I saying? I like this image and the lines in the composition but I think that you are limiting your veiwers perception by the title that you have chosen. I can see a man pondering the big questions of life looking out arross the plains or an ocean...or this image could symbolize how small man's place is in the world...or whatever others see???

But back to the image, maybe a crop to lose some of the sky above the electric line? That may or may not work as I wouldn't want to take away from the vastness of the scene.
