Guess what is inside.
I came across this old photo and thought you might have fun trying to guess what is being stored inside these plastic units. As you try, consider that it gets very hot and very cold in this area. (It's cheating to look at the metadata. I didn't take the time to strip it.)

A backup supply of patience and forbearance for when it's hot and muggy or the roads are snarled with ice and snow.

Obviously these are not large containers, probably quite small. I am intrigued by that ladder thingy.

Is it perhaps very smelly?

Re: Guess what is inside.
As for size, the ladder does indeed provide perspective. It's a real ladder.
The stuff inside should not be smelly.

Re: Guess what is inside.
Hint: I tried to throw everyone off by mentioning that it gets very hot and cold in that area. Knowing that the stuff is being stored outside with such wide temperature swings is surprising, at least to me. So, try to think of something that would not be normally stored in that situation.
It also would not normally be stored in plastic containers, at least not that I have ever heard of.

Given the other passion which you share with me and one or two others on here, I wonder if it's w....! (Oh, I've just seen that you provided the answer two posts above. At least I was right). But I've never seen plastic vats being used out in the open like this. Where did you come across this?

Re: Guess what is inside.
I took the photo in Cappadocia, Turkey. It was very hot at the time. I could see the wine through the white plastic, though that's not shown in this photo. Though I have no idea about the quality of this particular wine, I did enjoy some good (not fabulous) wine regularly in Turkey.

Re: Guess what is inside.
I suspected it might be wine, but only because I know wine is shipped in bulk in giant plastic bladders

Shucks, I didn't get to guess.
At that size you don't have to pour a glass, you can just jump in, swim around, and drink you fill.

Re: Guess what is inside.
Considering the storage being used, that wine may only be good for taking a swim.

Re: Guess what is inside.
I would have said moonshine but it would probably eat through the container.
