Leg and Hand (A bit quirky)
This picture's a bit quirky but for it appeals to me. Look forward to your comments

Re: Leg and Hand (A bit quirky)
Right then, what does it tell us? It is a young female, probably married, who has come off the beach. There is probably an overcast and she has been paddling in the very edge of the waves as her feet have only just got wet. It's an interesting picture.
Nice one Karm.

Re: Leg and Hand (A bit quirky)
I love it.
It would make a neat mono conversion too.

Re: Leg and Hand (BW Version)
Sharon suggested I try a BW version of my original color version. Here's my take on a BW interpretation. I like it better than the color version. Look forward to your comments.

Re: Leg and Hand (BW Version)
I also prefer the monochrome version. I'd like to see just a little bit more space at the bottom; the current presentation looks cramped there.
I don't naturally connect with this style of photography, though I do like that the framing makes the arm and leg seem in an almost comical way as if they might have no relationship to each other, that perhaps two people could be in the photo.
Consider increasing more contrast to the bottom of the foot to emphasize the dirt.

Re: Leg and Hand (BW Version)
Mike, I have a version without the black border that gives the photo a bit more breathing room on the bottom. I think I am with you on this.
