Re: While the birds are gone...
I suspect you have something of an 'impossible angle' with the first one.
If you get the closest petals sharp the flower centre is blurred and there isn't sufficient area of interest in the sharply focused parts to over ride the out of focus areas.
The others are all good in every respect.

Re: While the birds are gone...
Hi Geoff. Thanks for pointing that out! Actually I updated the wrong image. This one (#1) should look better.

Re: While the birds are gone...
Good photos, Otavio.
I like all photos, mostly of wasp (despite the central feet are moving).
Good work!
Antonio.

Re: While the birds are gone...
Hi Antônio. Yes, they (wasp) keep on moving all the time. I will increase the shutter speed next time! Regards...

Re: While the birds are gone...
Hi Jack. I think you confused me with Bobo (I wish I was as good as Bobo!)
Regarding the dragonfly, I just asked it to freeze for a moment and it promptly attended my request. Glue would hurt its fragile wings!
Many thanks for viewing and commenting. Kindest regards...

Re: While the birds are gone...
Hi Otavio,
Great pictures.
Dragonfly nr 1 for me. It might even be better with the wasp-background, but hé I know....
with the wasp in second place...

Re: While the birds are gone...
Thanks, Bobo. By the way, have you seen my silhouette in the Lizzie's eye? This one really let me get close. Very cooperative creature, unlike most lizzies.

Re: While the birds are gone...
Rudy, I do agree the wasp background would work nice for the dragonfly! Thanks for viewing!
