2 has a very cool, abstract quality. I prefer it over 3, but I'm not sure B&W was the right move. The warm colors of the tungsten filament might look better to my eye. Additionally, you might want to try taking the shot with your camera perpendicular to the filament instead of looking slightly down at it. That introduces a mild distortion I find distracting in a photo of such a geometric object.
1 would be my absolute favorite if the glass was clean. I think the dusty surface, though a nice nod to the vintage bulb, takes away from the shot. Lighting it with a little flash to throw some reflections off the glass might also be worth a try.

Lex, thanks for the comments. I am going to attempt this again tonight and will take you comments to heart. I really need to pay attention to cleaning...this is not the 1st time I have neglected that

It may not just be dust on the outside. It may be dust on the inside and/or imperfections in the glass.
