Hello everyone, I'm brand new to digital but not to photography. Sold my film gear some years ago, (Pentax K1000 with a heap of lenses). Now hankering after a DSLR so have bought a Bridge camera (Nikon P510) just to ease me back into photography, great little camera but struggles in low light. Still trying to get the hang of all this photoshop business

I followed your route back in 2007 and got a bridge camera, it will help you get back in the swing.
I also now have the P510, bought for the long lens range as an alternative to the cost and weight of DSLR glass, but you're right, it does struggle in low light, both with focusing and image quality

Have you got 'full blown' PS or Elements?

Could you do me a favour please?

I,m using a 30 day trial of Elements 11 at the moment. I will probably end up staying with it as it's pretty user friendly and does all I need.
