I dont get to see these birds too often,all the above shots are cropped pretty hard... they dont fall for the blind as easily as most birds. People tell me I can get closer in a canoe, I will try that when weather gets warmer and work slows down a bit. I am glad y'all liked them even though I constantly see much better eagles posted here.

James,
I would be excited to even see an eagle and very excited to get these pictures. I'm still learning about this bird photography but I'm guessing those "better eagles posted here" were taken at a closer distance or with longer lenses. My hawk pictures are also cropped quite a bit and those are never as sharp as the birds at the bird feeder that are so much closer. Same camera, same technique, same tripod, just further away. Then again, maybe we just get too excited with these shots to execute it perfectly.
I like these. Especially the third one.
