Some good photos and some good satire, Tom. I particularly like the shot of the Wharf. I think the b&w has brought out the depth in those clouds very well.

Still, its not such a bad place to work.
There are relatively few beauty spots around to photograph. Seems like any spot that has any redemption is quickly snapped up by the developers and is converted into a marina.
There are a few jems around though. I'll see what I can drag up.
This is The Duck Pond as it is affectionately know. Its where the prawners and pearlers stick their boats during the cyclone season. It smells a bit but there's always somethng interesting going on.

Someone told me always put a rock in the foreground. Buggered if I know why. I even carry a few small stones in the boot of the car for emergencies.
