    Indeed, RAW vs JPEG discussions to me were irrelevant, because my camera only shoots RAW thereby making life very simple . . .

    . . . until I bought a Panasonic GH1 micro four-thirds format camera. Although it can produce RAW files, these are not corrected for lens distortion nor I think for CA. But the JPEG output files are corrected (extremely well) in-camera. So, I use the JPEGS, not having the patience to faff around in PSE6 on such matters. Theoretically, it's Wifey's camera anyway ;-)

    When I bought my Lumix G1, it came with SilkyPix RAW converter, and that one indeed corrects optical errors from the Panasonic lenses. Corrections may be set in other software too, but in Silkypix it's automagic.
