Re: Naches River
Oh, I really like the latest edit even more. The cooler temperature feels more appropriate. The crop works a lot better for me although I cannot pinpoint or articulate why. Maybe because the horizon is less centered? I don't know but you've taken what I already thought was a great shot and made it better.

Re: Naches River
Love #2. Interesting composition, nice cheerful lighting, great scenery. Brings me back to a variety of locations and trips, all good memories.

Thanks Matt, betting you did not scroll down on first page. If you like the cheery feel of #2 you might also like that 4th one.

Re: Naches River
Hi Paul,
I really like all of the images because of the soft light and the lovely filmic?? quality of the colours. They look like old film that we don't see anymore.
I think the 3rd one is the strongest. It is visually more complex and I like the way the river curves and adds a sort of counterpoint to the mass of the hill behind. I also like the balance of the colours the blue of water and sky and the yellow and red of the dry grasses against the green of the trees on the mountain is very pleasing. I wouldn't increase the contrast it will kill the peaceful feel of the shot.
