I think you are right, Geoff. I toyed with the idea and backed off because I was not sure how much of the background trees I was willing to give up and also did not want to give to much space between the end of the log and edge. I think this is a descent compromise. You?

When displaying an image in the Lytebox, I wonder if you're aware that you can click and hold the image to move it to the edges of your monitor to simulate a cropped image on two sides. I'm sure that doesn't compare to being able to crop on all four sides using your handy dandy cards, but it also requires less manual dexterity.
