Just messing around with some photos. This is Hallam he has just scored the winning try in a Rugby tournament last year. He liked it - what do you think

Well the background just doesn't look right. From the angle of your shot, there should be horizon in the background, and maybe a little sky. I know you're in Wales, but presumably the rugby match was taking place on a flat pitch rather than the sides of one of the valleys!

So it looks very much as if you have tried to clone the background in. In doing so, particularly around Hallam's head, you have some haloing going on.

Quite a strong contrast between highlights and shadows although I don't find that to be a problem. But, as Phil mentioned, there is something around his hairline that doesn't look correct.
