I like #7 & 8 more than the rest.

Re: "Dark" Images - A monochrome try (Series)
The first one is too complex a scene, with too many elements 'fighting for attention'.
But the overall monochrome conversion has worked well in all of these photos.

Hi Otavio,
I am not (yet) into B&W photography,....so I can't give you any good advice here ,but I like nr 4 the most. Looks like dooms-day, lonely bird, big stormy sky.... It must be a very dramatic in color version
Regards, Rudi

Hi Otavio, I'm glad you decided to try B/W because I think you did great. I like #3, 4, and 5 the most, in that order.

Re: "Dark" Images - A monochrome try (Series)
Dear Otavio,
I think the conversion was a good idea on these photos. In each case, the forms and contrasts are the essence of these images and the b+w highlights exactly that. I think it really helps these images speak.

Re: "Dark" Images - A monochrome try (Series)
#4 overall is my pick Otavio and the last one of the church is my pick of the building images.
Now if you could copy the sky from 4 and put it in the last photo, that would be worth seeing.
Cheers,Greg

Re: "Dark" Images - A monochrome try (Series)
A very nice series, Otavio. Good conversions. My favorite is #4, despite not being very sharp. Perhaps for this reason, it looks like a photo showing that the end of the world is coming.
Cheers,
Antonio.
