    Brilliant images Mal
Theoretically, you could get your PADI open water in two to three days. Of course, you could always do it while you're here where the water is warm!

I reckon Lauren, my daughter whom I'm up to visit might get a bit grumpy if I spend all my time there underwater.
Looking forward to meeting you, Kerry and Jazzy

    Re: Under the Water

Just for something different, here are photos of an actual recent dive - yesterday's!

Actually I didn't really find anything exciting. I did find something weird though:

    Under the Water

I have no idea of what this is but it was interesting enough for me to stop and taking a happy snap.

    Under the Water

Here we have a grumpy and very territorial fish. Don't let it's smile fool you. Despite being probably only half a finger long and very narrow, he was chasing away fish from his area that were a lot bigger than he.

    Under the Water

Next was an Octopus that Kerry managed to find. You can see how surprised it is by the fact it's eyes almost popped out of its head when the strobe went off.

    Under the Water

He then assumed an angry face to try and scare me off.

    Under the Water

When that didn't work he made a break for bluer waters.

    Under the Water

This I'm told is a bubble shell. It's about the size of a thumbnail. Apparently it also has eyes.... although don't ask me where.

    Under the Water

And this was a ball of catfish. I had a hell of a time trying to get them all looking in the right direction. It was like trying to take a group wedding photo...
