Little Superhero on the Beach...

I don't post much color stuff, so here goes. This was taken about 15 minutes before the sky opened up (zero lighting before, during or after, just a little shower); I didn't alter the background colors, the water was actually that green (strange effect light has on the shallows).

Nice low angle, uncluttered but interesting background and excellent lighting. Colours work really well but I would like it even better if a little more of his face could be seen.

I like the obvious concentration and the sand spilling from one hand while clutching the gathered stick in the other. Maybe you should post more colour stuff.

Thanks L.Paul, appreciate the comments. I have a rule not to show a current, recognizable photo of the kids, but it's encouraging to know the colors work. I'll keep at it...

Yellow and blue always make a good combination. Did you try it with a tighter crop?

You bet, but IMO it lost all sense of scale - I'm leaving about a subject's width to the left edge...
