I jest, they're actually really good kids too, so the cuteness is just a bonus.
The more I look at these Portraits the more I feel that I know more about them. Its strange how pictures work but it also means that I really like this family picture. You should really be proud of not only your picture but your lovely, happy, warm, friendly, loving, close knitted children too. I describe what the picture is telling me.

Anyway, I too am quite happy that I don't have ugly children because that would just make more work in PP.

    Can I say that?

Hi Nigel, thank you very much for the honest feedback. That truly means a lot to me, and you've just made my day! So thank you.

Believe me, although it can be tough at times (I'm sure you're all too familiar with this), those kids mean everything to my wife and I, and we'd of course do anything for them. Not only am I a proud father, but a lucky one too, because all of those adjectives you used to describe them are pretty well spot on.

    Hi Andrew,

I wouldn't dream of speaking for the grans or aunties but as a doting grandpa of 4 I think the colour version is the one the family will love. That impish little lad in the middle is delightful, the colours of their clothes compliment each other, the composition is good and looking at the picture makes one feel good. Blow it up and stick it on the wall where you will enjoy it every day. Now the monochrome ones are real classy but in my humble opinion the colour one is super, well done.

Thanks Keith, I appreciate you taking the time to comment. I haven't showed the grans, or the aunties as yet, but after hearing the great feedback I've received, I'm sure they will like it.

    Thanks again!

Just a great shot. With kids half the job is getting them all smiling at the same time and this is a treasure. Looks great in colour or B&W.

Hey Wayne, thanks! I'm happy everyone thinks it turned out well. I was a little worried, when I first posted it, and honestly I was concentrating more on my lighting techniques, than trying to capture 3 happy kids, but with all this great feedback, it's given me a little confidence to do it again!
