Re: My first venture into portraits......
Hi Ken,
#1 and #3 look a bit OOF?
At least you got yourself a willing model. Maybe a bit bulky (not fat) to get into a studio.
Do you know what the stud is doing in the nose, perhaps she is a teenager?
#5 is my favourite, although a bit snobbish.

Re: My first venture into portraits......
The first two are an unusual angle; but a good idea.
I wonder if your focus depth was a bit shallow though. As Andre mentioned, some parts of the scene are perfectly sharp while other areas are a little blurred.
Possibly subject movement instead.
The last two are perfectly focused.

The first three seem a bit soft to me, too Ken. I really like the expression on the 2nd one (is her name Julia?). The 2nd and 5th best capture some of the camel's character for me.

Sorry Greg it isn't. This is Julia! On one of her better days as well! LOL

[QUOTE=AB26;290462]Hi Ken,

Hi Andre
I believe the nose stud is to do with their harness hook up when they ride them so they can control the camel. Bit like the role of the bit in a horse's harness. If you look you will see all the camels have a noise peg fitted.
Cheers
Ken
