Totally agree with Manfred, reading a manual is really the most boring part of this job ... and reading is just a part of learning of course, the other part is practicing a lot. I, too, think that reading in small parts and applying those small parts on camera is the best way for taking total control of a camera for a newcomer, especially if it is the first camera of a photographer ...
