Another from Chinamans Beach
I'm fascinated by clouds. I'm not sure if these work. C&C welcome.

I like #1 a lot so IMHO it works!

I like #2 best. in my opinion it could use the effect of a red filter. That would bring out the bright whites and darken the greys and blues. But what do I know.

I prefer the first one: the b&w has lost some of the detail in the cloud and the reflection on the water seems a bit flat. But, the blues in the sky -- particularly above the clouds -- seem unnatural to me.

Re: Another from Chinamans Beach
I think the second one (B&W) could benefit from a slight crop at the bottom.
There is too much 'heaviness' with the shore and sea which competes with the clouds. Just having the narrow strip of sea is easier on the eye and gives more importance to the clouds.
There should be sufficient space to take a similar amount from the left side to retain the current size ratio.
The first image has sufficient impact with the dark blue sky to counter balance the shoreline and look good as it is.

I prefer #2. For me, the blue in the sky of the first one kind of detracts from the scene. I think the composition is good, too, although it couldn't hurt to try cutting out a bit of the sand from the bottom, just to see how that looks.

The B/W with no sand.

I defintely like the crop. I'm undecided about colour vs. B&W, but it's because I like both very much. Simple, and powerful: two immense elements of Nature, separate but interdependent. Nice work.

Like the first better !! Does have impact, clouds look good on the monochrome but the foreground need more contrast !!! Can see why you like clouds !
