I wanted to catch the dusky light with the trees and electric wires in silhouette...as if the trees on the two sides are connected by the wires...but technically I don't think this is near to a perfect shot...I'd like to know how to make a better shot of this....

I think you need a touch more brightness to produce more contrast.
Possibly try slightly increasing the highlights, not the shadows. And lose that green light at the bottom.
