About the gulls - there were hundreds of them so it was just a matter of getting focus on one and then follow it around. I did not want the sky full of them so waited while tracking until there were only a few in the frame. I had no idea what the shot looked like until I got it on the computer.

Racoons - they do look pretty cute but around here they are considered pests. It was soaking in the sunshine safely up in the tree. He might have an injured paw as I saw him licking it and some of the shots showed the fur to have a reddish stain.

Nice series, Bobo! good to see your birds back and the weather better for you! I like all but 3, 11, 14 are surely a step above the rest.

Unfortunately I have to make do with what we have with easier access. Their commonality makes them somewhat uninteresting so the aim is to show them off better then we would with say eagles, owls, other raptor, etc.

Very nice shots Bobo. I especially like #3 (Mute Swan). It has a very "dreamy" feeling. And having it centered in the frame works very well. I used paper to "crop" the bottom. Taking a bit off of the bottom creates an interesting feel. However, it is extremely nice as is.

#3 and #11 are my favorites. I think #3 needs the color, so #3b doesn't work as well for me. In #11, I wonder if the sun needs a bit more space around it. Do you have a version that allows that?

#s 3, 8, and 11 are wonderful. The sense of downhill to the left is compelling in 8, the light exciting, the freeze spectacular. I’m new here. Is there a way to see the data for these – especially interested in #8. Much prefer 3 with color –to me, the inclusion of color in this case seems to add subtlety and magic.
