Brother-in-Law was playing at The Sage Gateshead this afternoon so I took a wander along.
Probably the worst situation ever as it was massively back-lit with little or no light coming from the inside but RAW files shot with the highlights just blowing and some careful CameraRaw fiddling got a few decent results.

Not brilliant, he was playing in the main entrance, come cafe, come shop, come meeting area. The Sage run free concerts, if that's not too big a word, on a lunchtime for people who are pottering about or enjoying a spot of lunch.
Google it and look at the building and the main concert halls it is a spectacular building and has one of the best acoustics anywhere.
