I would not waste any money, not even $10, on that 'telephoto converter'. It is 'a toy'.

No idea of the company. Many companies, both good and bad, sell those attachments.

If you look at the reputable camera / lens manufacturers, you will notice that their teleconverters sell for a lot more money and sit between the lens and the camera body.

I had a wide-angle supplementary lens for my first video camera. It would be an understatement to say that it introduced some rather interesting distortions...
