I like doing this too whenever on a plane. Sometimes great conditions in the upper clouds or over flying cities. It's pretty cool.
Nice one you got here, luckily the haze (from clouds) did not interfere too much with the city shots.

I've never been in that part of the world, so that might explain why the brown clouds are so surprising.
Franz Lanting, a famous photographer, made a presentation years ago and one of his photos was made from a commercial airplane flight. He said that about one out of every ten flights yields a photo that could be published.

Hi Mike. I also think the clouds are always white/gray (including here). I believe the brown cast was due to the time of the day (close to sunshine time). Anyway, I will also check the white balance. Thanks for viewing/commenting.
