It's #2 for me Andy. Nice coastal shot. I dare say it was hazy when the shot was taken but you could give it a bit more pop with some Local Contrast Enhancement. I'd also consider increasing the contrast with the Levels adjustment. Same goes for #1 and also you might like to straighten #1 so the beach is horizontal (unless you intended it the way it is !).

Great shots, I love Cornwall and will be going there in July with my Pentax K30. i am saving up for a tripod which is easier to use then my old one.
