Hi Geoff. For me the background is a prop for the reflections in the water. I might try cropping the top part to see what it looks like.

Karm, I like the colors and the reflections in this scene. It looks very peaceful. I think Geoff's suggestion on a crop would also make a nice photo but I'm really not overly bothered by the way you have it. Then again, I'm the one who almost always has busy backgrounds.

Hi Terri. I also like the reflections and the trees along the bank -- heck, that's why i took the picture. I agree with Geoff that there is a tangled mess of brush and trees in the background. The only reason I hesitate to crop the left side of the picture is that I like how the water reflections go from dark to light as you move from right to left.

Would cropping to 3 x 2 ratio be an option?
