Beautiful creature

Hi everyone,
I cleared up some building debris and underneath a piece of plastic I came face to face with this beautiful creature. It is ,I believe, a fire Salamander and it was happy to pose for me for a while until it very slowly walked away- poor thing ws clearly too cold to do much fast moving.
No questions, just thought you might enjoy. All C&C very welcome. . . .

Yes, harmless but a lttle scary looking, docile and somewhat leisurley when moving !!

Thank you Otavio, we get quite a lot of these around here during the summer, they are normally well hidden in winter but seem to have no fear of people, camera's or dogs

Hi Mat,
Beautiful image, black and yellow always makes for great contrast.
Just be careful for that lens/hood shadow using onboard flash, when getting close to your subject.
