Fishing for Saugeye
Saugeye are a hatchery-produced hybrid made from a cross between a female walleye and a male sauger. Comments welcomed.

Re: Fishing for Saugeye
I like this shot. It brings me back to my younger days when I would brave the elements to go fishing. I like the way we are looking down at the fisherman. I know that these days I'd fall off the darn stones into that obviously cold water. However, that idea adds to my liking the shot!

Works well in B&W, like the symmetry .. diagonals make powerful images !! Excellent !!

Very nice. Is there a version with more water in the upper right (ie, is this cropped)? To my mind, a little more water in the photo would maintain the diagonal element, plus locating the photo and adding a little intrigue. What's under the water? Will they catch anything?

Hey Lex, I struggled with the issue you raise. I do have a version with more water in it. I'll take a second look at it. if it looks better then I'll post it.
