Playing around with a new trick I learned in Photoshop.
Let me know what you guys think. Playing around with some sort of dispersion effect.

Works very well for what it is. Not sure you'd be wanting to apply it to every image (!), but for specific images, it seems like a pretty good little tool.

Zach, I have an aversion to Photoshop affects (as well as other software affects) -- ie anyone can click the button. However, in this instance, I think it is a good application of the affect.

I like the effect Zach. Not for every photo I agree, but for your idea it works out well.

Very effective for commercial purposes, such as advertising, album covers etc. Your photo and the effect match well.

Good lord, how powerful was your flash?! Look what you did to him! ![Big Grin](https://cdn.cambridgeincolour.com/forums/images/smilies2/biggrin.png)
Not bad at all. I'm with the gents who aren't big fans of gratuitous Photoshopping, but this works rather well. Might be a good chance to play around with a color-gelled flash.

It actually wasn't an effect, Greg, that you just press a button, Thats like a few layers of masks and erasing and painting. But it was still something just fun to play around with. And yea I can only see it working with certain photos. Thank you guys for the comments though.

I based my project around this video, but put my own little twists into it.

I think if the intent is disintegration from the light, lighting from the left with change to the pose would be more effective to the concept. Nice effect though.

I feel like I have had days like that. Everything is going well and then your brain explodes and then the rest of the body seems to follow as well.
Nicely done!

Hahaha thank you, I was testing the power of my lighting and unfortunately it caused me to explode.
