Only the lonely - and Something Different
Quick outing and saw these, just for fun, nothing serious.
18-250mm at 250mm, cropped.
Need to go back with better lens.

Only the lonely - one is always left out from the crowd.
Somethin different - After fish for so long, a little fowl couldn't go amiss.

Re: Only the lonely - and Something Different
I really like the first one, Graham. What really takes my attention though, is this:
Those lines between the bird(s) and the reflection engage my attention more than anything else. Although maybe the calmness of the surrounds is what directs me to this focal point.
I'll be interested to read the response from others.

Luck is a fickle lady. I've been to the same location several times now, this is the only time I have seen more than one or two egrets. Today, howling wind and rain. And TODAY is the day I bring my long lens - aarrghhh!!!
BTW, thanks for the comments John and Greg.
