You captured a very nice moment. and if you scanned this from a print, you did a nice job of keeping detail without blowing a bunch of highlights (maybe insignificant ones in the collar). My limited experience with scanning should have been entitled "a seminar in how to blow highlights". Not so easy as some might assume.

It was an Agfa 100 negative I had professionally scanned. I've tried scanning myself and it is too time consuming and the quality, unless you spend a fortune on a quality scanner, is hit or miss.

Excellent work !!! Get a warm feeling and love the work The scanning is first rate, when you can afford them drum scans are they way to go !!

Thanks for the comments alfred. The scan was done by "Scanmyimages" in San Francisco.
