Hello everyone, my name is Al and I'm getting back into photography after a very long hiatus. I reside in the USA in Virginia Beach. I'm interested in night photography, long exposure (day and night) portrait and B&W photography. Some HDR B&W shots have interested me. The photos in the home page "gallery" tab at the very bottom are the type of pictures I would love to take. Bold and colorful. I'm glad to be a part of this group. There are some amazing photos that the members have taken. One can only aspire to get shots like those. Thanks for having me.

Welcome Al. By the way, if you prefer being addressed as Al rather than Albert, then you can change your 'real name' in your profile. I hope you enjoy what you find here on CiC.

Yes I do prefer Al. I did find Mr. McQ's photos as you suggested. I wish there were a little more detail as to: lens; ISO; Aperture and speed. I find it nice to know a base line from which to start and then experiment. I learn better from the successes of others rather than my mistakes. I'll have to figure out how to change my profile. Thank you Mr MacKenzie or Donald if YOU prefer.
