Just the auto white balance, but I did take my settings from the whitest area then slightly recomposed the scene.
When shooting Raw, I normally keep to AWB then adjust during conversion if necessary. I usually find that unless I am doing a custom white balance the auto setting works just as well as using Sunny or Cloudy etc.
And, more importantly, I don't forget to change it when I move on to another subject with totally different light.
Christina,
Your Nikon D80 does not allow bracketing the white balance when shooting RAW files or when using Kelvin temperature settings. You can bracket the white balance only when shooting JPEGs and bracketing the presets such as "sunny," "cloudy," etc.
Thank you for sharing Bernard (beautiful photo, especially for the colours)
Thank you Geoff and Mike... good to know.
Nice pics Christina - I don't feel alone now either - I was actually out a couple of weeks ago and took a few shots of some interesting clouds - hadn't posted them anywhere cause I didn't think anyone would be interested - will put some up over the next couple of days if you are interested
Christina,thanks...
One image I made in which clouds were an important part, was this one, back in 2011.
