Antho le contu
While taking photos of my Breton friends at the St-Patrick's Day parade, I caught this photo of one of them, a singer and storyteller who goes by the stage name of Antho le Contu, in the room where we stayed to keep warm before the parade started (it was cold out: -9 Celsius/21 Fahrenheit, with a strong wind that made it feel at least 10 degrees colder). As soon as I took it I knew this one would work best in black and white; it feels like a very old photo. The flaw, of course, is the vertical seam running up behind his cap - I know I could remove it in post, but at this point in the game I prefer to leave things like that as a reminder to myself to look more carefully the next time.

Very nice, it does look timeless, although it is lacking the typical grain.

Good point, I suppose I could add noise if I wanted to; I can experiment with that.
