I've often heard the saying about "having your ducks in a row" but I never saw ducks do this. Took this a few weeks ago on the lake/pond at the back of our property. These ducks are migratory and only here in the winter and are very hard to sneak up on so they are almost always on the far side of the lake from our property, as they are here. But I couldn't resist taking the shot anyway because they were in several groups, but all the groups were in a row. Usually they are bunched up.
I believe all these ducks are Redheads. C&C is welcome but I'm mostly just sharing. They were really too far for me to focus properly hand holding the long lens.
