Covered Bridge (Geometric View)
I wanted to take pictures of this particular covered bridge during a snow storm. I liked this perspective of the bridge best because of its geometric emphasis. Definitely would like to hear your feedback on it.

Re: Covered Bridge (Geometric View)
I think that might work better in a nice contrasty B&W (but then i normally do!)

Re: Covered Bridge (Geometric View)
I suspect the problem, Karm, is going to be the snow. Unless you told us that it was taken in a snowstorm it would just look strange. If there was obvious snow on the ground it would be different.
The camera angle etc works OK for me.

Re: Covered Bridge (Geometric View)
I love the creativity, though this is the kind of image that just begs for a bright red car about to enter the bridge on the far side (assuming cars drive on the right side of the road in your area). To make it more of a study in geometry that works on its own, consider cropping it just a little to the left of the big opening on the far side and in the middle of the post on the right side.

Thanks Mike. Yeah, a nail polish bright red sport car car would be cool. I'll play with your crop suggestions.

Re: Covered Bridge (Geometric View)
Geoff, when I took the picture I thought the snow falling would look interesting. Now, I go from hating it to loving it. You're right about the snow on the ground. Mark suggested I convert it to a BW -- I'm going to try his suggestion and see if it resolve the snow issue.
