Does anyone recognize this duck? I shot it along with a bunch of other birds but I don't recognize it.

Yes, Bud. It is a Green winged Teal. The stripe on the head is usually green but can flash blue in some light. Did it turn green at all, Bud. This is a male, the female is mottled brown and slightly smaller.

Thanks, Paul. I would never have gotten that. I have some shots that were clearly green-winged teal but their quality wasn't good. Appreciate the help.

No worries, Bud. The head strip can be green to purple with blues in between. They are a pretty cool duck. They have a great roughled feather pattern on their back.
