Another species....

Hi ALL,

Another shot of a common butterfly I wish to share with all of you. To tell you the truth, I actually didn't realize that the caterpillars I brought home last few weeks is belong to this butterfly and not only Lime butterfly as I expected until this morning when its pupa has become a butterfly.

However its caterpillars look alike and they are sharing same hostplants except for the Mormon has an extra hostplant of Murraya Koenigii (Indian curry leaf). This picture was taken while they were enjoying a rotten apple with diluted honey applied on cotton puff I specially prepared and served for their breakfast this morning.

Thanks for viewing and your feedback. Yes it is! It was a coincident and happened that this purple flower still in my vase. This butterfly was just hatched from its pupa and in the process of drying its wing before fledging away.
