On that first one, Paul, I'd wonder about cropping to take out that (?) lamppost/column thing at the left.

For me, the second shot steals the show. There are some distracting white specks (raindrops?) above her hair and in the dark awning near the center of the shot. A little extra PP (namely sharpening and darkening the living statue) would probably go a long way. The contrast between the white building in the background and the darkly-dressed crowd is a little distracting. A touch of dodging and contrast reduction should take care of that.
