The fog/mist was so strong that I could shoot directly at the sun. It is definitely (defiantly?) moving north to for it's winter holiday.

Thanks Mike and Shane and yes the second shot is my preferred and it took much more effort in that I had to walk another 20 metres in the morning mist to take it. I suppose about 70% of my photography is based on grab shots i.e. I spot something that interests me, stop the car (or in the above shots walk into the garden) and start shooting. The rest of my photography is usually when I plan to be somewhere at the right time of day for lighting or tide etc.
