The Devils Marbles
I took a drive over the Easter break into the Outback to the Devils Marbles. This is one of the landscapes from the 2300km journey. I will post some more when I have my editing software repaired. The local aborigines say these are eggs laid by the Rainbow Serpent which is an important ancestral being. C&C welcome

Hi Wayne,
It seems under exposed (see histo) and over saturated (excepting the sky), perhaps a problem caused by unfamiliar editing software?
A nice composition, never-the-less.

Good composition and unusual subjects. However, I agree with Dave's over-saturated assessment. Might want to try bringing up the black clipping point (the "Blacks" slider) to give the shadows some punch.

Agreed with all of the above. Thanks also for explaining the eggs.
You will probably want to eliminate the tree branches peeking out from the left side of the frame.

After a slight boost to the highlights using an Adjustment Layer in Luminosity mode. Just a thought.
Using Normal blend mode would give more saturation and a mask on the sky could darken it a fraction. But I've left the sky on the bright side.

Re: The Devils Marbles
I know the Devils Marbles, and because I have been there several times, I think I can say, the colours of the photo are wrong, overall much to golden.......
