Lightroom Slideshow

Hi Folks,
I am putting together a slideshow in lightroom and whatever I have done the show keeps pausing at the same time when I do a preview, no matter what I try nothing seems to remove the pause, Can you help I'm starting to pull my hair out,

Hi Pat, i dont use LR for slideshows but i just had a go! i selected my photos and put them in a quick collection and then went to the slidshow panel and selected preview as you suggested, it buil the show and then i hit the same problem you did in that it seemed to stay in pause mode.

so i selected play instead and it worked just fine! when i exited play mode and tried preview that also worked... go figure!

If you need to consider alternative software, Pat, I found Photodex Proshow Gold to be very effective for slideshows and relatively easy to use. And it can produce in universal formats. Including added sound etc.

But on the downside, there is a slight cost implication.

Thanks for that, tried it no good so I just exported the show and all worked fine.

Yes I have heard of that software and it seems to get good reviews,
