Late night project with my friend.
I'm really starting to develop a liking for wild kind of pictures like this, becoming my "style" I guess. Let me know what you guys think. C&C welcomed!

Well put together fun image, Zach.
The only slight alteration that I would do is to tone down that little bright area in the bottom right corner.

very well executed, i to love these photographs, i have plans already in head but got to find the right settings for the photos to do it.
A question though, when shooting your model(friend) what type of background did you use? And how did you do the shadow around his face for the shadow of the hole?

Novel and nicely produced.
Yes, the light reflection in the right hand corner and very bright right hand side of the fret would benefit amendment, but apart from that, it is a really interesting and well composed shot.

Re: Late night project with my friend.
The background I used was my bedroom wall. I wasn't too concerned about the backdrop because it just got masked out anyway. And the shadow on his face was caused by a single light off to camera right, and I used the light in the same position for shooting the guitar, the only shadow that isn't photoshoped in is the shadow on his face.

This is what the subject held onto to keep his hands in the shape of the hole in the guitar. It's a butchered paper plate, but it most certainly got the job done.
